Properties Unlimited Group completed a metal roof clean and paint project in Highfields, Toowoomba QLD. The existing Colorbond roof showed typical weathering and surface dulling from years of exposure to Queensland sun and weather, with some debris accumulation along the sheets and gutters.
The roof area measured approximately 340 m². Work began with a high-pressure wash using a 4,800 PSI pressure washer, including full gutter cleaning to remove built-up dirt and organic material. Once dry, one coat of specialised primer was applied across the metal surface to promote adhesion. This was followed by two coats of the chosen roof membrane, providing UV protection, weather resistance and a uniform finish.
The completed roof has a clean, consistent appearance with improved durability against the local climate. A 15-year warranty on the membrane system was issued on completion.
