With a thin, milky-white composition, Metal Primer Plus creates the perfect surface for the Roof Protect Membrane to adhere to, enhancing the performance and durability of the final two coats. Its eco-friendly, low VOC formula combines sustainability with reliability, making it an ideal choice for modern roofing projects.
Suitable for Colorbond and other metal roofs. This product should not be used on rusty roofs. For roofs with rust, it is recommended to use Roof Protect Rust Inhibitor Primer instead.
Covers approximately nine square metres per litre. Supplied in 15-litre drums.

The warranty for products from PUG including Roof Protect, ensures reliable performance for a specified period after application. The exact duration and terms of the warranty depend on the specific product used.
Generally, the warranty covers product defects such as premature cracking, peeling, or failure to adhere correctly to the roof surface. However, it excludes damages caused by external factors like storms, improper installation, animal or chemical damage, post-restoration construction, or neglect. Previously painted roofs are not covered, as the product adheres to existing paint rather than the roof surface itself.
To be eligible for the warranty, the product must be applied by a qualified professional following PUG’S guidelines. Regular inspections and maintenance may also be required to uphold the warranty’s validity.
